Configuring your email client: Vista Mail
These are the instructions for setting up
Vista Mail in Microsoft Windows Vista.

First, launch the Mail application. |

In Mail, click on the Tools menu and select
Accounts |
| |

| |

|
| |

Click on the Add button in the upper right. |

In the Select Account Type window, select
E-mail Account and click on 'next'. |

Enter your full name as you want it to appear
when you send mail. and click on 'Next'. |

| |

In the Internet E-mail Address window,
type in your e-mail address, then click on 'Next'. |

Fill in all necessary fields to include the
following information:
Server InformationMake sure POP3 is
selected.
Incoming mail server (POP3): mail.domainname
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.domainname
and check option Outgoing server requires
authentication. |

In the Internet Mail Logon window, enter
your E-mail username and password for your e-mail
account (you don't need to enter the password, but
if you do, you will automatically log on to the
e-mail server everytime you open Windows Mail as
long as the check is in the box next to Remember
Password).
User Name: Enter your username
(including '@domainname')
Password: Enter your password |

Click Finish, then click Close to close the
Accounts window. |

Congratulations! You're done configuring your
client to send and retrieve messages. |
